Green packaging

At present, the more widely used green packaging materials are mainly: paper products materials, natural biological materials, degradable materials, edible materials.

First, paper materials

Paper materials come from natural wood resources, with the advantages of fast degradation and easy recycling, and are the most common, widely used and earliest green packaging materials in China. Its typical representatives are honeycomb cardboard, pulp molding and so on.

After the use of paper packaging, not only will not cause pollution and damage to the ecology, but can be degraded into nutrients. Therefore, in today's fierce competition in packaging materials, paper packaging has been impacted by plastic material products and foam products, but it still occupies a place in the market.

Second, natural biological packaging materials

Natural biological packaging materials are mainly plant fiber materials and starch materials, of which natural plant fibers reach more than 80%, with non-pollution, renewable advantages. After use, it can be well converted into nutrients to achieve a virtuous ecological cycle from nature to nature.

Some plants are natural packaging materials, as long as a little processing can become green and fresh packaging, such as leaves, reeds, gourds, bamboo tubes and so on. Beautiful appearance is only a small advantage of this kind of packaging, more importantly, it can also let people fully experience the natural ecology !

Third, degradable materials

Degradable materials are mainly based on plastics, adding raw materials such as photosensitizers, modified starch, and biological degraders. And through these raw materials to reduce the stability of traditional plastics, speed up its degradation in the natural environment, in order to reduce the pollution of the natural environment.

The more mature materials are mainly traditional degradable materials, such as starch-based, polylactic acid, PVA film and so on. Other novel degradable materials, such as cellulose, chitosan, protein, etc., also have great potential for development.

Four. Edible materials

Edible materials are mainly raw materials that can be directly eaten or ingested by the human body, such as lipids, fibers, starches, proteins, etc. With the continuous progress of science and technology, these materials have gradually emerged and become more mature in recent years. However, because it is a food-grade raw material and requires strict sanitary conditions in the production process, its production cost is high and it is not convenient for commercial use.
