The surface layer and bottom layer of coated paper due to the selection of bleaching chemical paste, and a certain proportion of fillers and glue, and after multi-roller light, so the two sides of the difference is small, good whiteness, smoothness and high surface strength, with a certain amount of water resistance, scalability is small, ink absorption is moderate and more uniform.
Coated paper is used for printing business cards, certificates, invitations, book covers, postcards and so on. It is also commonly used as the back paper of hardcover books. It is also the base paper for making aluminum card paper and glass card paper.
2. Type and Specification
The white card is divided into three grades: A, B and C. Quantitatively, there are: 200g/m2, 220g/m2, 250g/m2, 270g/m2, 300g/m2, 400g/m2 and other varieties.
The size of Coated paper is 880mm×1230mm, 787mm×1092mm, or produced in accordance with the provisions of the contract. The error of size shall not exceed ±3mm, and the skewness shall not exceed 3mm.
According to the contract can produce all kinds of color card paper, except whiteness, the rest of the Coated paper according to the technical requirements for assessment.
3. Technical requirements and parameters
The technical specifications of Coated paper must meet the requirements specified in Table 4-13. According to the industry standard QB/T3523-1999, white card paper must also meet the following requirements:
① The cutting edge of the paper should be neat and clean.
② The fiber organization of the paper should be uniform, in line with the requirements of the paper pattern stipulated in the order contract.
The paper surface should be flat, no spots, streaks and other paper diseases.
④ The color of the paper should be consistent, each batch of paper is not allowed to have a significant difference.
Conditionally, the factory can produce white card paper with embossing pattern according to the order requirements, where the white card paper with special embossing pattern, do not check the smoothness and whiteness.
⑥ The following cases are listed as second-class products:
A. Smoothness is less than 20% of the standard;
B. Stiffness is less than 20% of the standard.
